The difference

We don't just send personnel.

We provide mobile welders and industrial mechanics for maintenance, fabrication, installation, shutdowns, repairs and industrial emergencies. But sending someone is the easy half. We prepare each intervention, brief the crew, document the work performed, and hand you a clear technical record of every activity.

The goal is simple: personnel who arrive understanding what they are going to do, where they are going to do it, how it must be done, and under what safety conditions.

How we work

Six steps, every intervention.

The same sequence whether it's a planned shutdown or a line down at 2 a.m.

01

We receive your request

You send the need, the general scope, the location, the date and the level of urgency — scheduled work, maintenance, shutdown, fabrication, installation, modification, urgent repair or industrial emergency.

02

We confirm availability

We verify availability of the personnel required and coordinate the assignment. Non-urgent work is placed in the operations calendar.

03

We prepare the personnel before dispatch

Before mobilizing, we give the assigned crew what they need to understand the job — so they don't arrive discovering the work from zero.

04

We execute and record

During the work the crew documents what is actually done: photographs, measurements, evidence of the procedure, material used, changes made, findings, conditions encountered and where each component ended up.

05

We deliver an activity report

At the close of the shift or the intervention you receive a short, organized report of what the assigned personnel did.

06

We document the modifications

When pieces are fabricated, modified or installed, we can measure and scan them to produce technical documentation — so the information doesn't live only in one worker's memory.

On an emergency, you follow it in real time

For urgent requests the client can track the process as it happens:

  • Request received
  • Personnel in confirmation
  • Resources accepted
  • Estimated time of arrival
  • Personnel mobilizing
  • Arrival on site

Step 03 — what the crew gets

Scope of work · photographs · drawings · diagrams · equipment location · procedures · tools required · site conditions · identified risks · client-specific rules · safety measures · visual information on the machinery.

Step 05 — what the report includes

Personnel mobilized · working hours · activities performed · progress · photographic evidence · material used · problems encountered · pending work · recommendations · safety observations.

Step 06 — what we deliver

CAD drawing of the fabricated piece · verified dimensions · fabrication record · installation location · as-built update · 3D model · evidence of the finished adaptation.

Scope determines which items apply — each one is agreed before work starts.

Mobile Welder Crew

Personnel who mobilize, with their own rigs.

Welders and industrial mechanics available for manufacturing plants, steel mills and other industrial operations — supplied as vetted independent contractors, so you take on no headcount and no co-employment exposure.

What we cover

  • Industrial maintenance
  • Shutdowns and turnarounds
  • Repairs
  • Fabrication
  • Installations
  • Modifications
  • Temporary personnel coverage
  • Emergency response
  • Support for manufacturing plants and steel mills

Before anyone is dispatched

We verify code certifications, insurance, tax forms, written U.S. work-authorization certification and a signed safety acknowledgment. Crews arrive with their own rigs, tools, consumables and PPE.

You never chase individual welders. Every request, assignment, rate and communication is coordinated and administered by JALM — one party accountable to you for the job.

Technical documentation

What was done, how it was left, and where everything ended up.

Documentation isn't a report we write afterwards — it's produced while the work happens, by the people doing it.

  • Intervention reports — activities, hours, progress and personnel assigned.
  • Visual procedures — the steps as they are actually performed, not as they were imagined.
  • Photographic record — before, during and after, from the same angles.
  • Machinery documentation and asset inventory.
  • CAD drawings of fabricated and modified pieces, with verified dimensions.
  • Reconstructed OEM drawings when the originals no longer exist.
  • As-built updates — the record reflects the plant as it now stands.
  • Documentation of fabricated parts — so a replacement can be made without reverse-engineering it.

The point: the information doesn't stay in the memory of the person who did the work. It stays available for future repairs, replacements, spare-part fabrication and maintenance.

Digital twin & crew preparation

The crew sees your machine before it walks in.

When the client allows it and the scope calls for it, we perform a digital survey of the machinery, production line or area to be worked on — 3D scanning, technical photography, field measurements and 360° walkthroughs — creating a visual record used to prepare personnel before they enter the site.

What it shows clearly

  • The machinery and the work space
  • Accesses and main components
  • The intervention points
  • Visible risks and safety conditions
  • The procedures
  • Location of tools and equipment
  • Modifications made previously

What this is — and what it isn't

The goal is not to replace the client's own training or safety procedures. The goal is to complement the preparation of our personnel so they arrive with a better understanding of the environment and the work ahead.

Review happens through interactive, first-person walkthroughs of your actual equipment. The same material can be delivered to your own maintenance personnel.

Turning experience into systems

The knowledge shouldn't leave when the shift ends.

In many operations the knowledge lives only in the head of the most experienced person. When that person isn't available, the information is lost and the same mistakes repeat. We document that experience and turn it into visual systems and clear procedures — technical documentation for the client, and training material for our personnel, so the information can be understood, repeated and improved.

We don't depend on individual memory. We build a base of knowledge that improves with every intervention.

Communication & transparency

Documentation alone isn't enough.

There also has to be clear communication between you, JALM and the assigned personnel. So we keep a record of requests, activities, progress, questions, changes and deliverables — which reduces the things that quietly cost money:

What it prevents

Misunderstandings · incomplete information · unrecorded changes · repeated mistakes · lost knowledge · delays caused by missing context · doubts about the work performed.

Two points of view

You know your operation better than anyone. We observe the intervention from a technical and operational angle. When both perspectives are documented and communicated properly, the result improves.

How we want to work

Not only as a personnel supplier — as part of the same team, with the same objective.

In writing, on every job: a Service Order agreed before work starts · an evidence package with every invoice · and your files are yours to keep — no subscription, no lock-in, no portal that dies when you stop paying.

Private client portal

Everything organized, in one place.

All the information stays organized inside a private portal. Depending on the service contracted, you can consult:

  • Service requests and general personnel availability
  • Mobilization status and work calendar
  • Activity reports and photographic evidence
  • Procedures and CAD drawings
  • As-built documentation and 3D models
  • 360° walkthroughs and fabrication records
  • Intervention history and downloadable files
  • Project questions and observations

Information is classified by client, plant, project, machine, area or intervention. Access is controlled to protect your privacy, technical information and operating data.

Our difference

Five things that change the outcome.

01

Prepared personnel

The crew receives visual, technical and operational information before the intervention.

02

Documented work

We record activities, changes, pieces, findings and the conditions that matter.

03

Organized information

Documentation is classified and preserved for future interventions.

04

Clear communication

You review progress, reports and deliverables inside a single system.

05

Continuous improvement

Every job produces information that prepares the next one better.

Accuracy

Accuracy you can put in a contract.

We don't say "very accurate." We declare it. Every deliverable states its accuracy under the USIBD Level of Accuracy (LOA) Standard — the U.S. Institute of Building Documentation's specification for building documentation.

  • Declared level: LOA20 — a tolerance of 5 cm to 15 mm (2" to 5/8") at 95% confidence (2σ), Validation C.
  • Verified against the current v3.1 (2025) specification — not a spec sheet we copied.
  • Anchored to a laser control network (Leica DISTO). Measurements are relative within each captured area and reconciled on site before we leave.
  • Need tighter? For critical elements — structural bays, façade openings, elevator shafts, equipment bases — we add a Critical Dimension Set at LOA30.

The guarantee: if any delivered dimension falls outside LOA20, we re-capture and re-draw it — free.

What we don't claim: survey-grade or millimeter accuracy · land or boundary surveying · engineering or design · stamped or sealed drawings · detection of concealed conditions.

Industries served

Where this way of working pays off.

Manufacturing plants

Maintenance coverage, repairs and modifications — with a record of every intervention that outlives the technician who performed it.

Steel mills & coil processing

Coil lines, levelers, shears, conveyors and structures. People who have worked inside a running line, not around one.

Shutdowns & turnarounds

Scan before the outage, prefabricate from real dimensions, rehearse the sequence — and cut downtime.

Machinery dealers, riggers & auction buyers

Your buyer needs the machine to start there. We disconnect it documenting every cable — and hand over the reconnection map.

GCs, remodelers & architects

Verified existing conditions and as-built drawings for commercial work, delivered in days.

Hispanic contractors of DFW

You do the work; we solve the English paperwork the city actually accepts. Se habla español.

Our philosophy

Experience shouldn't disappear when a shift ends.

Changes shouldn't go unrecorded. Fabricated pieces shouldn't be left without dimensions. Interventions shouldn't depend on a verbal explanation. We turn the work performed into information that is useful, organized and reusable.

We mobilize personnel

We prepare the intervention

We execute the work

We document the changes

We preserve the knowledge

We don't improvise. We document.

About · Field and data, in the same person
The person who's actually pulled the cable can also build the system that documents it.

Most documentation comes from someone who only does one half. The photographer never disconnected a machine, so they don't know what matters. The CAD drafter was never on site, so they draw what they're told. The coder never touched the equipment, so the dashboard is pretty and empty. JALM is the rare mix: real industrial trade experience — plant shutdowns, CNC machines, complete coil lines, electrical disconnect/reconnect — plus CAD, portals, and software. That's why the result is one you can build on — and why we don't compete on price. Led by Jaime Luna, Industrial Field Technology Integrator.

FAQ

Straight answers to fair questions.

"How fast can you get a crew on site?"

It depends on scope, distance and what is running at the time. When you send an urgent request we push it to eligible personnel immediately, and technicians respond with their availability and estimated arrival — so you get a real answer instead of a promise. For planned work such as shutdowns, booking ahead gets you the crew you want.

"Do I contact the welder directly?"

No — and that is deliberate. You request the crew through JALM and we coordinate the assignment. A technician can respond with availability and an estimated arrival time, but the order is confirmed and administered by us. That is what keeps rates consistent, insurance and documentation validated, experience matched to the job, communications on record, and one party accountable to you for the result.

"Are the crews your employees?"

They are vetted independent contractors, not leased labor — so you take on no headcount and no co-employment exposure. Before anyone is dispatched we verify code certifications, insurance, tax forms, written U.S. work-authorization certification and a signed safety acknowledgment. They arrive with their own rigs, tools, consumables and PPE.

"What do I get besides the repair?"

A file. Depending on the scope agreed in the Service Order: a service report, photographs before, during and after, the procedure executed, materials installed, field measurements, findings, CAD drawings of any fabricated piece, as-built updates, 3D scans, a 360° walkthrough, and recommendations for what should be scheduled next.

"We already have drawings of the equipment."

What year are they? Drawings show what was designed, not the modifications, repairs and workarounds of the years since. We do not sell you a plan — we record what is there today, and we update that record every time we work on it.

"Do you do engineering or stamped drawings?"

No. We do not design, calculate, or seal anything, and we are not offering engineering services. What we deliver is field documentation and reality capture — measured, photographed and drawn from what is physically on site. If your project needs a sealed drawing, your engineer starts from our record instead of from a tape measure.
