STAGE 00 · SCOPE & IDENTITY

One machine. Two states. Zero guesswork.

This plan governs the deinstallation, transport and reinstallation of a BRANER U.S.A. Cut-To-Length line — serial EH-13902, 96″ wide × 0.160″ gauge — from Tulsa area, Oklahoma to Houston, Texas (~510 highway miles). The operating machine is captured as a digital twin before the first wire is lifted; that twin then becomes the verifiable blueprint for reassembly.

Nothing is disconnected until it is documented.

The running machine is the only source of truth for its interconnections, parameters and configuration. Stage 01 freezes that truth.

STAGE 04 · RIGGING & TRANSPORT

Heavy iron, handled like electronics.

Lift disciplineNo lift without a weight. UNICO 212 HP motors = 1,450 lb by nameplate; major frames scaled at first pick. OEM lift points, certified rigging, one designated signaler, 2–3 cm test pick.
PreservationCorrosion inhibitor + VCI wrap on leveler rolls, shear blades and machined surfaces. Desiccant inside all 13 electrical cabinets. Shock & tilt indicators on console, drive racks and PLC.
Heavy haulTulsa area → Houston (~510 mi). DOT-rated securement, oversize permits as required. Every skid CG-marked. Nothing loads without a TAG and a photo against the 63-TAG manifest.
Arrival = Phase 1 of the install plan. Piece-by-piece inspection against the origin photo set, same day. Damage is documented immediately for the cargo claim (HP-001 / HP-002).

  1. Pre-energization — shipping brackets off (per-TAG checklist), fluids refilled to registered types/volumes, Megger ≥1 MΩ @ 500VDC (HP-015), grounds ≤5 Ω.
  2. Layered energization — service → PNL-10/MCC → control transformers (taps verified: 110V Rexroth / 120V Parker) → drive buses. Phase rotation vs origin marking; bump test each motor.
  3. Digital restore — PLC project, HMI apps, per-drive parameters with firmware verified per unit, Yaskawa motion; ping every device on 3 subnets (HP-014).
